Purpose
Honoring Robert Quiroga (San Antonio’s First World Champion Boxer) during Hispanic Heritage Month.
San Antonio’s first World Boxing Champion, native son, and San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame inductee, the late Robert Quiroga, whose tribute and motorcycle ride dubbed the RoQ & Ride Community Fest is a community oriented event. Spearheaded by his brother Epi Quiroga and brought together by his family. Robert Quiroga’s untimely death shocked the public as well as his family and friends alike. Proceeds slated to go to various 501c3 non-profit organizations in our community.
Since Oct 2004 History Proceeds Contribution to NON-Profit in our community exceed $20,000.00
Previous 501c3 Non-Profit Benefactors include B.A.C.A (Bikers Against Child Abuse). –Neighborhood called Edgewood – Latinos in Action Sports Association - San Antonio Fatherhood Campaign, Loving Dozen, Angel Boxing Club.
